Faced with a father’s disappearance a young boy deals with coming of age and his mother’s dating of the local landscaper. The design focused on an old car graveyard, a barn, a bar, a news station, and the boy's home. The blue in the film was prominent in the safe feeling of the boy's refusal to let go and the color red and orange represented the flaming uncertainity.
